GypsyBeanYoga Offers a Variety of classes!
From Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Handstand Theory, and Yoga for Athletes of all types. With that Gypsybeanyoga offers Private Yoga Sessions upon request such as one-on-one, group sessions, and event classes.
Vinyasa Yoga is a very popular and more modern type of yoga. This style of yoga is a flowing, dynamic yoga practice that cultivates presence by connecting movement with breath. Most classes feature several elements of traditional Ashtanga yogaโ vigorous sun salutations, standing poses, and preparation for arm balances & backbends. All while focusing on a gaze point guided by a steady breath. Vinyasa is excellent for students who find that sweating and movement helps create a state of physical exertion and mental concentration leading to deep relaxation and steadiness after class.
Handstand Theory is a class that specializes in inversions. Any pose in which your heart is higher from the ground than your head is considered an inversion asana. This includes common poses such as headstand, forearm stand, and handstand. We work the necessary skills and drills to either begin or sharpen your inversion practice. This class is a strength conditioning class, mainly working with the upper body, the core, and body alignment.
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that helps stretch and target both connective tissues between the muscles, and fascia throughout the body. Each posture is held anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes long. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility.
Yoga for Athletes (Sports, Recovery, Mobility, and Balance) Sabrina believes yoga can improve athletes performance and overall body awareness. Yoga assists in muscle recovery, enhanced balance, strength, mobility, and mental focus. Yoga also teaches you how to use your breath and connect your breath to your movements. If you are an athlete of any kind and want to increase your physical abilities, create a yoga practice and increase your body awareness/ body control. Anyone from bodybuilders, gym goers, climbers, calisthenics athletes, bikers, runners, and any sports players can benefit from yoga
